Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Site Leader to join the Field Operations team in Richmond, VA. You will lead a local team of Shift Leaders, Field Operations Associates, and driver partners, overseeing all facility operations and driving a perfect customer experience.

The role emphasizes drive, grit, and entrepreneurship, with responsibility for KPIs, budgeted productivity, and safety. You will report to the Field Operations leadership and be part of a fast-paced, customer-first organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment and leading a workforce.
• Retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills with conflict resolution.
• Strong skills with team development and engagement.
• Ability to lead in an ever-changing environment.
• Proven track record of improving processes and efficiencies.
• Availability to work during peak hours (5pm - 3am) and weekends/holidays.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift up to 49 pounds.
• Professional fluency in Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and is accountable for all facility operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
• Drive improvements to KPIs such as Order Picking Time, Order Dwell Time, Drive Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order.
• Accountable for driving the site’s financial performance by achieving budgeted productivity, labor, and other expenses.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for the warehouse by analyzing reports.
• Implement and monitor HR compliance, asset protection, safety controls, and safety of people and products.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and guide execution of company programs.
• Train site leadership to control expenses and labor per budget and sales volume.
• Create plans to improve financial performance of the facility.
