Job summary

Gopuff in Chicago is seeking a Site Leader to join the Field Operations team. You will lead a local team of Shift Leaders and Field Operations Associates, overseeing the facility’s operations and a team of independent Driver Partners.

The role centers on executing plans to deliver a perfect, customer-first experience. The position requires drive, grit, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, safety, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced workforce in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including peak times (5pm–3am) and weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and is accountable for all facility operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
• Drive improvements to KPIs such as order picking time, dwell time, drive time, defect rate, and cost per order.
• Manage budgeted productivity, labor, and expenses to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for the warehouse.
• Implement safety controls and asset protection, with focus on people and product safety.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and guide the leadership team.
• Train site leadership to control expenses and align with budget and sales volume.
• Create plans to improve the facility’s financial performance.
