Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Site Leader to join the Field Operations team in Urbana. You will lead a local team of Shift Leaders, Field Operations Associates, and Driver Partners to ensure smooth facility operations and an exceptional customer experience.

You will drive improvements to KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies while developing your leadership team. This role requires adaptability, strong communication, and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment leading a workforce.
• Retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills with conflict resolution.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; 5pm–3am and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Professional fluency in Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and is accountable for all facility operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
• Drive improvements to KPIs such as Order Picking Time, Order Dwell Time, Drive Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order.
• Accountable to drive the financial performance of the site by ensuring budgeted productivity, labor, and other expenses are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for the warehouse by analyzing and interpreting reports.
• Oversee safety, asset protection, and QA reviews; implement HR compliance where needed.
• Develop action plans to improve performance and guide management in executing company programs.
• Train site leadership to control expenses and labor within budget and sales volume.
• Create and implement plans to improve facility financial performance.
