Job summary

J&A, Inc. seeks a Site Manager to oversee all operations of an apartment property, ensuring compliance with HUD, LIHTC, USDA and Fair Housing regulations. The role includes leasing, income certifications, and emergency on-call duties, with on-site housing support when required.

The ideal candidate will have LIHTC property management experience, strong communication, and basic bookkeeping skills, plus a valid driver’s license to coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years LIHTC property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of property management software (Yardi, Real Page) preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all property operations in line with company policies and HUD/LIHTC/ADA/regulations.
• Oversee leasing activities and tenant income certifications.
• Collect rents, handle notices and evictions.
• Maintain vendor relationships and supervise maintenance.
• Prepare income recertifications and annual reports.
• Live on-site and provide on-call coverage (if applicable).
