Job summary

J&A, Inc. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. The role requires on-site presence and strong coordination with the Regional Manager.

The candidate should have LIHTC property management experience, knowledge of HUD/RD guidelines, and proficiency with Yardi or Real Page. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience (2+ years preferred) in LIHTC property management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management software (e.g. Yardi, Real Page).
• Valid State Issued Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping.
• Certification or training in property management, LIHTC, COS, or RD training.
• Introductory knowledge of HUD, RD, and LIHTC guidelines and IRS rules and regulations specific to assigned property.
• Local, state and federal safety regulations and building codes.
• Relevant legislation, (e.g. ADA, Fair Housing).

Responsibilities

• Leasing Activities: respond to inquiries and show vacancies.
• Rent Collections: collect and post deposits and rents; issue receipts.
• Administration: enforce lease agreements; open office on time; provide on-site coverage.
• Property Maintenance: supervise staff and coordinate vendors; conduct inspections.
• Record-Keeping/Reporting: maintain tenant ledgers and prepare monthly reports.
• Other Duties: meet with tenants and assist with regulatory visits.
