Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years LIHTC property management preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and property management software (Yardi, Real Page).
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
• Certification/training in property management, LIHTC, COS, or RD recommended.
• Knowledge of HUD, RD, LIHTC guidelines and IRS rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing activities: respond to inquiries, show vacancies, verify income, prepare leases and related documents.
• Manage rent collection: post deposits, collect rents, issue receipts, handle late payments and notices.
• Admin duties: open office on time, enforce leases, live on-site if required, conduct annual income re-certifications, attend corporate meetings.
• Supervise property maintenance: oversee staff, monitor contractors, conduct unit inspections, coordinate bids and repairs.
• Record-keeping/reporting: maintain financial records, report incidents to corporate, summarize building operations monthly.
• Other duties: meet tenants, participate in emergency planning, support Regional Manager.
