Job summary

Safe Place for Youth is seeking a Site Associate for the Lighthouse program in Los Angeles, on-site, full-time. The role supports a safe living environment for residents, handles daily property oversight, safety checks, and crisis response, and collaborates with case managers to resolve issues.

The position requires relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings or weekends. A California driver’s license is required for transporting residents when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years direct services experience with high-risk youth preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site safety and cleanliness; respond to crises and support residents.
• Assist with program intakes and exits; prepare intake packets and document requirements.
• Coordinate food, meals, and pantry donations; maintain inventory of supplies.
• Interact with residents to support success, enforce house rules, and provide crisis resolution.
• Coordinate volunteers and on-site educational, life skills and healing arts activities.
