Job summary

Safe Place for Youth is seeking a Part-Time Resident Coordinator in Los Angeles to manage the Pico-Union Transitional Housing Program. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, support residents, and collaborate with case managers to address emerging issues.

You will assist with intakes, coordinate meals and activities, and drive program transportation. A valid CA driver’s license, ability to work weekends, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, psychology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Daily duties as listed: oversee property and safety, enforce house rules, coordinate meals and supplies, support resident welfare and crisis responses.
• Build relationships with residents and coordinate with case managers to resolve issues.
• Drive SPY vehicles to transport residents to services and activities.
• Assist in program intakes/exits and prepare intake packets and files.
