Job summary

Safe Place for Youth in Los Angeles operates housing programs for youth experiencing homelessness. As Senior Housing Programs Manager, you will lead program operations, supervise housing-focused case management, and ensure grant and contract performance across multiple sites.

You’ll connect youth to safe housing and supportive services through trauma-informed, youth-centered care. The ideal candidate brings collaboration, mission-driven leadership, and a passion for empowering youth to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with TAY experiencing homelessness and/or housing instability is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in evaluation and project management, advocacy and coalition building, and managing/supervising is required.
• 1+ year of residential service provision or leadership experience is required.
• Experience using CiviCore and HMIS/CES is required.
• Knowledge of Positive Youth Development, trauma-informed care, and housing-focused service delivery is preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to develop relationships and execute strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and delivery of SPY’s housing programs across multiple sites.
• Lead program staff, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and grant/contract performance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and professional standards.
• Prepare monthly program reports for agency leadership.
• Conduct incident follow-ups and protect client confidentiality with HMIS/CiviCore records.
