Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Shore Excursion Sales Associate to work onboard, selling tours, answering guests’ questions, and coordinating dispatches from the ship lounge or pier.

You will upsell options, promote port highlights, and support voyage preparation while maintaining a high level of guest service. The role requires at least one year in guest services or sales, strong English skills, and the ability to work seven days a week in a multicultural ship environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in guest services or sales.
• Intermediate to advanced English verbal and written skills.
• Typing and computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Fidelio, AS400, and Mac OS.
• Knowledge of itineraries, ports, and tours.
• Basic ability in additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, German, or French is preferred.
• Basic understanding of debits/credits, adjusting entries, and corrections.

Responsibilities

• Sell and upsell shore excursion tours from the dock or ship lounge.
• Provide information on port highlights and general port information to guests.
• Distribute tour tickets and assist with voyage preparation and inventories.
• Conduct Shore Excursion briefings and Q&A sessions with guests and colleagues.
• Dispatch tours and manage on-board activity coordination as required.
