Ryder System, Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead shop operations, manage a shift, and back up others as needed. You will oversee technicians, coordinate scheduling, and ensure customer satisfaction while balancing financial and safety goals.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, vehicle diagnostics knowledge, and proficiency with Shop Management Systems and Microsoft Office. Monday–Friday schedule with a salary in the mid- to high-70s, plus bonus and benefits.

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field and/or 1–3 years maintenance operations experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory success in a shop/maintenance setting.

Mansioni

• Manage workflow: analyze, plan, schedule, assign work to technicians; track productivity and conduct meetings.
• Triage unscheduled customer drive-ins and coordinate with customers and technicians.
• Direct supervision and development of personnel; manage performance and training.
• Oversee customer relationship management, ensuring satisfaction and uptime.
• Manage parts inventory, shop tooling, and equipment; ensure vehicle specifications in SAM.
• Conduct quality inspections and root-cause analyses; implement corrective actions.
