Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager in directing shift operations and personnel at the Norton shop. You will oversee technicians and service staff, manage workflow, and ensure performance targets are met while balancing safety, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred or 1-3 years of maintenance operations experience.
• Demonstrated success in a Ryder role may be substituted for this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Management: analyze, plan and schedule work; assign to technicians; track productivity; conduct shift/shop meetings; review warranties.
• Labor Management: manage and develop personnel; handle performance management.
• Customer Management: manage customer relationships, resolve issues, ensure uptime and communication protocols.
• Asset Management: oversee location appearance, tool/equipment needs, parts inventory, and vehicle specifications.
• Quality Management: perform quality inspections, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and ensure documentation.
• Financial Management: manage payroll, POs, invoicing, cost controls, and billing processes; maintain data integrity.
• Additional Responsibilities: perform other duties as assigned.
