Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate and timely shipping documentation. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position involves daily carrier communications, data entry in the warehouse management system, and ensuring paperwork accompanies shipments. Candidates should be prepared for varied hours and physical tasks typical of warehouse work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Manhattan WMS experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, not required.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with outbound carriers daily by email and provide shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive drivers and direct outbound shipments.
• Use WMS to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork.
• Maintain shipping documents with SOP compliance.
• Enter and maintain data in the warehouse management system.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log and load board accuracy.
