Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate and timely completion of outbound shipping documents. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and involves coordinating with drivers, carriers, and site personnel to meet shipping requirements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and familiarity with WMS systems. The position may require extended hours, lifting, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Communicate via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive drivers and direct outbound shipments.
• Use the warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork and accurate shipping documents.
• Enter and maintain data in the WMS and shipping records.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies and support material handling tasks as needed.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on moves.
• Filing outbound paperwork for easy access and maintain seal logs.
• Maintain the load board with accurate information and communicate assignments as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
