Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are completed accurately and timely. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and is based at our Fogelsville location.

The successful candidate will manage outbound paperwork, coordinate with drivers, operate the warehouse management system, and assist in receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading, while ensuring data accuracy and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Communicates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive all drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Open/close shipments in the warehouse management system and prepare bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Ensure drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping documents per SOPs.
• Gather and enter shipping data into the WMS and maintain records.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log and load board accuracy.
• Communicate work assignments such as appointments and loading details as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
