Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are accurate and completed on time. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires daily coordination with carriers and site personnel.

Primary duties include processing bills of lading in the Manhattan WMS, maintaining shipping records, and assisting with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading. The job demands standing for long periods and flexibility for extended hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work in stressful situations.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Coordinates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receives drivers and provides directions for outbound shipments.
• Uses the warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with appropriate paperwork and shipping documents are accurate.
• Maintains data and records related to shipping activities; resolves discrepancies.
• Assists in material handling tasks such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitors trailer capacity and collaborates with spotters on trailer moves.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed by the leadership team.
