Job summary

The Warehouse Operations Clerk at NFI ensures all shipping documents are completed accurately and timely. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and interacts with carriers, site personnel, and drivers to coordinate outbound shipments.

Responsibilities include opening/closing shipments in the warehouse system, preparing bills of lading, and maintaining records. A fast-paced environment requires multitasking, attention to detail, and strong time management skills; Spanish

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Receive all drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Using a warehouse management system, open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Ensure drivers depart with appropriate paperwork and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Maintain data and records relative to shipping activities and assist with other administrative duties as needed.
