Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Shipping and Receiving Associate for a contract/temporary opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will play an important role in maintaining efficient warehouse and delivery operations while providing professional service to internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, and distribute freight, parcels, and mail according to established safety and operational procedures.
• Support shipping and receiving dock operations, including organizing freight areas and helping maintain an efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, timestamps, and records to support chain of custody and compliance requirements.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, clients, and internal teams during delivery and receiving activities.
• Use tracking technology and documentation tools to monitor deliveries, update records, and support operational accuracy.
• Assist with additional warehouse, dock, and operational tasks during downtime as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $23 per hour.
• Job type: Contract/Temporary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using technology to track deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional and reliable approach.
• Ability to work assigned hours as determined by the manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse, mailroom, dock, logistics, shipping, or receiving operations.
• Experience maintaining chain of custody records or delivery tracking documentation.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safe material handling practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
