Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fontana, CA. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with shipping and receiving experience, forklift operation skills, and the ability to coordinate transportation activity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will support daily warehouse flow by helping oversee shipping and receiving, scheduling appointments, arranging truck pickups and deliveries, and communicating with customers, drivers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to support accurate and timely movement of freight.
• Schedule appointments and help arrange truck pickups, deliveries, and related logistics communication.
• Operate a forklift safely as needed to support warehouse and material handling tasks.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, carriers, and internal team members regarding shipment status and scheduling needs.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
• Support general warehouse operations, documentation, and computer-based logistics tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse environment.
• Schedule appointments and arrange truck pickups and deliveries.
• Support logistics communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Operate a forklift and assist with warehouse workflow as needed.
• 2 years of related warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Shipping and receiving supervisor experience or similar lead-level warehouse coordination experience.
• Forklift driver experience required.
• Strong computer skills for scheduling, documentation, and logistics coordination.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work a Monday through Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse lead, logistics coordinator, or shipping and receiving supervisor role.
• Experience working with carriers, truck drivers, delivery schedules, and customer shipment updates.
• Familiarity with warehouse documentation, inventory movement, and transportation coordination.
