Responsibilities include picking, scanning, packing, loading/unloading, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience preferred for this role.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy, dusty, hot, cold, or include chemical odors.

• Load carrier trucks, unload inbound materials, and ensure products are stored in the correct warehouse or plant locations.
• Remove completed skids from production lines, place materials on warehouse racks, and supply production areas with corrugated boxes and materials.
• Maintain organized inventory, complete cycle counts, stock partial pick areas, and support accurate warehouse records.
• Operate forklifts, wrapping equipment, and yard equipment safely while following all shipping and safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping, support warehouse projects, and assist with training new warehouse associates as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, verify, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment according to packing sheets and load requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $19 per hour.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
• Schedule: 1st ( 6 AM to 6 PM) and 3rd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), Monday to Friday with overtime needed
• Location: Jackson, MI.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Gather, scan, stage, and prepare warehouse products for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying materials against packing sheets.
• Support production by moving finished product, scrap skids, boxes, and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, cycle counts, and proper warehouse organization.

• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience preferred for this role.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy, dusty, hot, cold, or include chemical odors.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, required licensure to operate a motor vehicle or lift truck.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and follow established warehouse and shipping procedures.
• Ability to use scanning equipment and support accurate inventory transactions.
• Ability to ship small packages using a UPS service system.
• Ability to enter material into SAP when needed.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, load quality, and warehouse organization.
• Must comply with all safety requirements, including use of required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous forklift or lift truck operating experience.
• Experience using SAP, warehouse scanning systems, or UPS shipping systems.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, production support, or high-volume warehouse environment.
• Experience loading trailers with attention to weight distribution, packing accuracy, and shipping documentation.
