Job Duties
Coordinates and executes shipping and mail services for a unitincluding inventory management and distribution, mail and packagereceipt and delivery, and shipping and/or delivery of packages forthe UW-Milwaukee campus with an emphasis on superb customerservice.
Key Job Responsibilities:
20% - Oversees incoming and outgoing shipments. Responsible for(package/mail) inventory management and distribution, mail and package receipt and delivery, and shipping and/or delivery of packages and freight.
Utilizes standard machinery and equipment to load, unload, and transport freight and materials
20% - Maintains records and manifests regarding incomingpackages, location, and date of delivery
20% - Determines policies and procedures related to mail andpackage receipt and delivery
20% - Compares identifying information and counts, weighs ormeasure items outgoing or incoming shipments to verify informationagainst bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, address labelsand other records
15% - Troubleshoots shipping issues and customercomplaints
