Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead onboard entertainment and ashore excursions across our 2026 season. The role requires high guest interaction, energetic presentation, and collaboration with hotels and vendors.

Responsibilities include coordinating excursions, communicating with guests, and ensuring premium experiences. This exempt full‑time position offers a competitive daily rate and benefits, with travel and housing provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can‑do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong social skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills. Strong sense of production and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment required.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• TWIC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs that enhance guest experience.
• Create the Ship to Shore and coordinate shore excursions and transfers.
• Communicate effectively to guests via daily programs and PA announcements.
• Be well‑versed in the cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Coordinate vendor, coach and guide communications for timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests, including personalized arrangements.
• Promote on‑board sales and brand loyalty programs.
• Report status of cruises and guest issues to Home Office.
