Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead on‑board and ashore guest engagement for the 2026 season. You will craft entertaining programs, manage shore excursions, and collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver a premium small‑ship experience.

This full‑time role requires long hours, exceptional presentation skills, and a passion for guest satisfaction as you work with vendors, conduct briefings, and greet guests at every port.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Energetic, confident, and can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong social skills.
• Excellent time management and detail orientation.
• Knowledge of U.S. geography preferred.
• TWIC credential required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging programs to enhance guest experience.
• Coordinate shore excursions and transfers with vendors.
• Greet guests on and off excursions and act as brand ambassador.
• Communicate daily program via PA and guest interactions.
• Oversee inventory, logistics, and vendor performance.
• Promote on-board sales and loyalty programs.
• Prepare for ship turnaround and coordinate with home office.
