Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead entertainment, enrichment and shore excursion programs onboard and ashore. This role reports to the Hotel General Manager and requires exceptional presentation and guest engagement across destinations and shipboard activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics with vendors, managing excursion inventory, and promoting onboard sales while maintaining a high standard of customer service and brand representation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Energetic, confident, and a can‑do attitude.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs that enhance and elevate the guest experience.
• Communicate to guests via shipboard daily program, PA system and personal interactions.
• Be well‑versed in the cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Confirm and adjust all shore excursions, explorations, adventures and transfers.
• Promote onboard sales and brand loyalty programs; coordinate vendor communications and inventory.
