Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead guest experiences aboard our ships for the 2026 season. The role combines onboard engagement with ashore programming, coordinating excursions, vendor relations, and guest services.

You will present at daily programs, manage shore excursion inventory, and ensure seamless operations, while maintaining a high-energy, polished presence. This exempt, full-time position requires long hours and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Energetic, collaborative and guest‑focused.
• Strong public speaking and social skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment and activity programs.
• Coordinate shipboard and shoreside excursions and logistics.
• Communicate effectively via daily programs and PA announcements.
• Oversee excursion inventory, vendor communications and invoicing.
• Ensure guest requests are accommodated with personalized services.
• Promote on-board sales and brand loyalty.
