Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead guest experiences onboard and ashore across the 2026 season. The role combines entertainment programming, vendor coordination, and premium excursion management on a small-ship platform.

Applicants should have a hospitality or events background, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work long hours in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. This is a full-time shipboard role with travel and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism or event management preferred.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid time management and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of U.S. geography and guest services.
• TWIC credential required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs for guests.
• Coordinate ship-to-shore experiences and shore excursions.
• Communicate daily programs and PA announcements clearly to guests.
• Represent the brand during excursions and at destination visits.
• Manage vendor communications and inventory for excursions.
• Ensure safety and guest satisfaction across all activities.
• Work long hours on a 7-day onboard schedule.
• Collaborate with hotel management and guest relations teams.
