Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to oversee shore excursions and transfers aboard our ships. This role requires engaging guests, coordinating with vendors, and presenting excursion briefings while acting as a brand ambassador.

The position demands long hours and collaboration with Cruise Director, Guest Speakers, and hotel leadership. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with CVBs for materials, and promoting onboard sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• TWIC credential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and confirm all shore excursions and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports, and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests as brand ambassador on excursions.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators for timely service.
• Present detailed excursion briefings to guests on cruise start.
• Promote on-board sales and loyalty program.
