Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Excursions Director to lead shore excursion programs and guest experiences aboard our ships. You will coordinate excursions, transfers, and vendor communications while representing the brand with energy and professionalism.

You’ll engage guests across destinations, manage on-board inventories, and partner with hotel and operations teams to ensure smooth experiences during long voyages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely service.
• Accommodate highly personalized guest requests such as special arrangements.
• Inform crew members of daily excursion offerings and schedule.
