Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to lead shipboard shore excursions, coordinate with vendors, and ensure exceptional guest experiences aboard our U.S.-flagged fleet. You will represent the brand on excursions, manage logistics, and drive on-board sales while maintaining the highest guest satisfaction.

The role requires long hours, travel on ships for extended periods, and a collaborative, energetic team player who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of U.S. geography preferred.
• TWIC credential required.
• Ability to work long hours and onboard for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and confirm shore excursions and transfers.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators.
• Accompany guests on excursions as a brand ambassador.
• Promote on-board sales and loyalty programs.
• Report to Home Office on cruise status and guest issues.
• Manage inventories and materials, assist in onboard events.
