Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and ensure smooth service. You will deploy the right team, manage day-to-day tasks, and uphold MOD’s standards to deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires mentoring, prioritization, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment. You will flex to store needs, lead by example, and support management in ongoing programs while maintaining a positive MOD

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor, trainer or informal leader experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coaching with compassion.
• Calm presence in periods of high volume.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date or as required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires.
• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place and adjust daily operations.
• Maintain systems and equipment, including online ordering, catering, fundraising, and customer review systems.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Resolve squad member or guest concerns and escalate to AM or GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift and perform refunds when required.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
