Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, guiding the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and smooth operations.

You will flex with restaurant needs and be a positive MOD ambassador, focusing on leadership, squad development, and reliable execution of daily tasks and brand values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, smooth, clean operation and adherence to MOD standards.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering and customer review tools.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad and guest concerns, escalating issues as needed to management.
• Handle cash accurately, process refunds, and manage end-of-shift tasks.
• Review communications from MOD and other sources to keep the squad informed.
