Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor team members, and uphold MOD standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, guiding the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

You will train newly hired staff, coordinate program rollouts, and model MOD's purpose in all interactions. This role requires flexibility to lead or assist as needed and to maintain exceptional service

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coaching with empathy.
• Calm, effective under high volume.
• Must obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start, where required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are served with a high standard of hospitality.
• Train and support new hires and implement new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, review systems).
• Ensure food safety standards in front and back of house.
• Listen to and resolve squad or guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders with the GM as needed.
• Complete opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Monitor emails for updates from Slice and related sources for squad effectiveness.
