Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires, program rollouts, and standards. You will be the senior squad member at times, ensuring the team delivers the best MOD experience and upholding safety and quality standards.

You will flex to restaurant needs, sometimes leading and other times hands-on, always keeping the MOD experience at the forefront and guiding the squad to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and coach to processes and standards with compassion.
• Calm demeanor during high volume periods.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place to support guests and deployment.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering, catering, fundraising and customer review systems.
• Ensure food safety standards are met in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed to GM/AM.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately; process refunds and security measures.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and use tools to meet shift requirements.
• Stay updated on information from Slice and other sources for squad readiness.
