Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. in Maple Valley, WA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires.

You will ensure guest experiences remain outstanding and that the squad delivers tasks efficiently while upholding MOD standards. As the most senior squad member at times, you will mentor teammates, manage deployment, and support program rollouts, with a focus on safety, quality, and consistent MOD service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach with empathy.
• Calm under high-volume conditions.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Open to working at least 3 shifts and 18 hours weekly, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training.
• Be the senior squad member on shift when required.
• Ensure compliance with MOD standards and food safety.
• Provide feedback and guidance to squad members.
• Manage cash handling within the shift.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists.
• Monitor emails for updates from Slice and other sources.
