Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor team members, and ensure a standout guest experience. You will guide training, uphold MOD standards, and support management in daily operations.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, sometimes leading and other times performing duties, always keeping the MOD experience at the forefront. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and delivering top service on every shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and coach others.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are served promptly and the squad is deployed effectively.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed to management.
• Handle cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed, with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to complete tasks on time.
• Regularly review email updates from relevant sources for squad guidance.
