Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Washington to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and ensure adherence to MOD standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will guide the squad, provide feedback, and support opening, midday and closing tasks to keep the restaurant running smoothly and safely, upholding MOD values on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor/trainer or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coach compassionately.
• Ability to be a calming presence during high volume.
• Must obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date or as required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work minimum 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place and deploying staff to support guests.
• Train newly hired/promoted staff and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, customer review systems).
• Ensure food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed to AM/GM.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor communications and updates from internal sources for squad effectiveness.
