Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and support program rollouts while upholding MOD’s standards and guest experience. You will be the senior squad member on shift, directing the team to perform essential tasks and deliver the best MOD experience.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, sometimes leading and sometimes performing tasks, always keeping the MOD experience at the forefront and supporting management to drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Willingness to obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• As Shift Supervisor, lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Lead by example to ensure MOD standards and outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure food safety practices in both Back of House and Front of House.
• Assign the right squad member to the right tasks and adjust deployments throughout the day.
• Manage cash handling accurately within the shift.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Adhere to shift checklists and use tools to complete requirements.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources to keep the squad informed.
