Job summary

MOD Pizza in Pleasant Prairie, WI seeks a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead the shift, train new hires, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will oversee squad deployment, safety, and operations, delivering the MOD experience on every shift.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or restaurants, strong leadership, and solid communication. The role involves cash handling, inventory, and following SOPs to support a smooth shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience
• Proven mentoring/training or informal leadership experience
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions
• Proficient written and oral communication
• Must obtain food safety/alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are supported and services run smoothly (deployment)
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts
• Maintain restaurant operating systems and equipment (online ordering, catering, fundraising, reviews)
• Use MOD tools to ensure food safety in Back and Front of House
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate to AM or GM when needed
• Manage cash within the shift including making change and refunds
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to complete tasks timely
• Regularly review emails for updates from Slice and other sources for the squad
