Job summary

MOD Pizza in Naperville, IL is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD's standards. You will ensure guest experiences, supervision of deployment, and safe food handling across Back and Front of House.

You will adapt to the needs of the restaurant, sometimes leading, sometimes doing, while maintaining the MOD experience and culture for the squad.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and coach with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and ensure the right squad member is in the right place.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals and online systems.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Address squad and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Handle cash within the shift and manage refunds and safe cash.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to execute tasks.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources.
