Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires. You will ensure a welcoming environment, guide the squad, and uphold MOD standards while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

You will flex with restaurant needs, sometimes leading and sometimes executing tasks, always prioritizing the MOD experience. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to procedures on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.
• Must obtain a food safety certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts and standards.
• Maintain safety and food-handling standards across Back and Front of House.
• Model MOD's values and provide guidance to squad.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and securely.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to complete tasks.
• Review updates from Slice and other sources for team communication.
