Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in the Washington DC area. You will lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for all new hires, program rollouts, and standards to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

You will flex to restaurant needs, often leading and sometimes hands-on, always keeping the MOD experience at the forefront. Prior leadership and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow and coach others to standards; calm under high volume.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet goals.
• Maintain food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns; escalate issues when needed.
• Manage cash handling within the shift.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed.
• Adhere to shift checklists and utilize tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed via email for updates from MOD and Slice.
