Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations, train new hires, and ensure guest satisfaction during shifts. You’ll collaborate with the GM/AM to maintain standards, direct the squad, and deliver the MOD experience on every shift.

You will flex to restaurant needs, sometimes leading, sometimes contributing on the floor, while upholding safety and quality in both BOH and FOH. A strong leadership presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; coaching calmly.
• Must obtain a food safety or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, smooth-running operation and high guest satisfaction.
• Train newly hired staff and support new program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals.
• Use MOD tools to ensure food safety in back and front of house.
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift including cash handling and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed on communications from MOD and other sources for squad effectiveness.
