Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Elgin, IL. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, coach team members, and ensure a welcoming guest experience while upholding MOD standards.

You will train new hires, participate in program rollouts, manage deployment, cash handling, inventory, and safety procedures. The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and a passion for MOD's mission.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Able to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work minimum 3 shifts / 18 hours weekly.
• Willing to obtain a food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date.
• Strong written and spoken communication; team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are served promptly and courteously.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad members and support new programs.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness in line with MOD standards.
• Handle cash, make change, and manage the shift’s financial processes.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/closing checklists and use tools to meet shift goals.
• Communicate updates from Slice and other sources to the squad.
