Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Baytown, TX to lead restaurant operations during shifts and train new hires. You will ensure guest satisfaction, guide the squad, and model MOD’s purpose in every interaction.

You will deploy staff, manage inventory and cash, support program rollouts and uphold food safety standards while delivering the best MOD experience on every shift. This role requires strong communication and leadership and offers benefits and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor or informal leader experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach effectively.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place and adjust daily operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment; support online ordering, catering, fundraising, and review systems.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety.
• Address squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately.
• Take inventory and place orders with the GM.
• Follow shift checklists and communicate updates from Slice.
• Review emails to keep the squad informed.
