Job summary

Marco’s Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, support and guide team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences on assigned shifts. The role combines hands-on food preparation and service with leadership and accountability for safety and standards.

You will coach and develop staff, manage cash handling, and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries. A great fit demonstrates ownership, teamwork, and a passion for quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts, leading and training employees and managing opening/closing duties.
• Perform crew tasks when needed, including makeline, oven monitoring, packaging, and guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment and ensure product quality.
• Coordinate with drivers and management for efficient deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members and assist with training.
