Job summary

MOD Pizza in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You will deploy staff, monitor guest experience, and ensure safety and accuracy in cash handling, inventory, and ordering.

As part of the leadership team, you’ll guide the squad, deliver coaching, and model MOD’s values. This role requires flexibility to lead or assist as demands change, while maintaining a welcoming, high‑performing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and provide coaching with empathy.
• Calm presence during peak periods; capable of handling high volume.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad members and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Address guest concerns and escalate to GM/AP as needed.
• Manage cash accurately and securely within the shift.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Complete shift checklists and use tools to meet timely requirements.
• Communicate updates from Slice and other sources to the squad.
