Job summary

MOD Super Fast Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor crew, and uphold MOD standards. You will guide the squad to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support training for new hires and program rollouts.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, balancing leadership and hands-on duties, while maintaining a focus on MOD’s values and operations during every shift. The role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven success as a mentor, trainer, or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow and enforce processes and coach others.
• Calm presence under high volume.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 18 hours per week across 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place and deployment charts are updated.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment (online ordering, catering, fundraising, customer review systems).
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in BOH and FOH.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders with the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Regularly review emails for updates from Slice and other sources.
