Job summary

MOD Pizza is hiring a Shift Supervisor in the United States to lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires. You will work with the squad to ensure guest experiences are outstanding and operations run smoothly, while upholding MOD’s safety and service standards.

You will mentor teammates, manage shift deployment, and collaborate with the General Manager to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coach others.
• Calm presence in high volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure squad alignment and deploy staff to the right roles for guest service.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety and MOD standards are followed during all shifts.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash handling, refunds, and daily cash controls.
• Assist with inventory, orders, and shift checklists to support smooth operations.
• Review communications from MOD and Slice to keep the team informed.
