Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and ensure standards are met while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

You will help deploy the right squad, manage cash, oversee inventory, and support management with program rollouts. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and maintaining MOD's service culture on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by doing the described key tasks.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support program rollouts and initiatives.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure safe food handling in Back and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately (making change, cash in the safe, refunds).
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to execute requirements.
• Regularly review email updates from Slice and other sources for squad readiness.
