Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. in Frisco, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor new hires, and model MOD’s values.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, uphold standards, and guide the squad to deliver the best possible MOD experience on every shift. You’ll manage deployment, train staff on new programs, oversee safety and food handling, and work with the GM to optimize inventory and cash handling.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentorship, training, or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes with compassionate coaching.
• Calm under high-volume conditions.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires.
• Direct squad deployment and adjust daily tasks for smooth operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals; manage online ordering, catering, fundraising and review systems.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards in Back and Front of House.
• Listen to concerns, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including refunds and safe cash handling.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and communicate updates from Slice to the team.
